Since 2021, we have been working with a local chef and wine expert to deliver an authentic Algarve dining experience at Casa da Rosa.

Umberto and Joao will come to the house in the late afternoon to set the table, prepare the food and wine and then serve you a wonderful 3 course dinner. They then clear everything away. You simply have to turn up and enjoy….like your favourite restaurant at home.

In warmer weather, for smaller groups up to 8, they can serve you at the pool bar table. For larger group, service is at the large outside table opposite the barbecue, and out of season at the large indoor table.

A typical menu might start with mixed tapas plates to share, a main coarse of grilled fish and meats with seasonal accompaniments, and a traditional almond tart for dessert. All prepared with the best local fresh ingredients and washed down with fine Portuguese wines. They can cook menus to order or you can choose a cuisine and they will surprise you. It’s up to you.

Dine@Rosa is generally available on Saturday evenings, but occasionally on other evenings by special arrangement when booked well in advance. Even for Saturday evenings, we recommend booking well in advance to avoid disappointment.

Dine@Rosa is a very special experience. A number of our guest groups have described it as the best meal they have ever had, and all have been enormously complimentary about the food, wine and service.

It is priced on the basis of a fee of €150 to cover the service and then the actual cost of the ingredients and wines consumed at dinner. Typically this works out at around €100/head but will vary according to the menu and the cost of ingredients and wines.
